The Shadow Ranch Foundation is located in the San Bernardino County Mountains of Southern California. The Sponsor created the Foundation to save vintage industrial equipment and machinery from being scrapped and make it possible for the general public to see and understand the historical significance of such equipment and machinery. To ensure the success of the Foundation for decades to come, the Sponsor has put in place a mechanism whereby his entire estate will belong to the Foundation.
Founded in 2015, the Foundation's mission has been steadily expanded and focused on preserving equipment and machinery that are among humanity's most important contributions. An example is the Linotype, which made the widespread production of books and hundreds of other printed documents possible. Another are Vintage Turret Clocks, which enabled entire communities to know the time of day in early times. Sitting almost side by side in our Vintage Turret Clocks and Printing building are the Linotype and several very early turret clocks representing two of world history's most significant and life-changing inventions.
Those who pay us an onsite visit will observe all the vintage equipment and machinery collection you see when you view the website and more. The Foundation is a fully compliant 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, which means that donations are fully tax-deductible. Please get in touch with us if you wish to visit and/or if you can assist us in any other manner.
